The Technical Business Analyst works with the client and internal team to determine the best way to implement a mobile, enterprise solution. This may involve requirements gathering, use case creation, functional design development, process optimization, test scenarios and test cases, and the creation of documentation. The Technical BA spends time on site developing a relationship with the customer and works throughout the life cycle of the project.
The Technical BA will become a functional expert in the FieldFLEX applications and has experience in the business area of facilities management. The Technical BA must be prepared to wear many hats and works closely with the project manager and technical team. The understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies is essential.
Requirements for the Technical BA position include a minimum of two years’ experience, understanding of work breakdown structures, flow charts, cross functional diagrams, and testing methodologies. Experience in the implementation of enterprise software in the private sector is important, and mobile experience a plus. Must be able to create screen mockups and storyboards. Some travel is required and the ability to work on site on a regular basis essential. Must be proficient at the creation of documentation such as requirements documents, functional design, user documentation, test scripts, test scenarios, high level integration documents, and use cases.
